Clinical Staff
The Rev. Dr. Alan N. Baroody, LMFT
Dr. Alan N. Baroody, Executive Director for the Mary Lou Fraser Foundation
for Families, Inc., is a Presbyterian Minister as well as a Pastoral Counselor
and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. He has served in pastoral
positions in South Carolina and Georgia for 15 years and directed Mental
Health and Pastoral Counseling Centers in Colorado and Georgia for 12
years. He is an active member of Savannah Presbytery and serves on the
board of the Georgia Association of Marriage and Family Therapists. Dr.
Baroody is also an approved supervisor for AAMFT.
Alan holds a BA from Wofford College, a Master of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary, a Master of Theology in Pastoral Counseling from Union Theological Seminary, and a Doctor of Ministry in Family Systems from Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary.
Jody Herzog, LCSW, Director of Counseling
Jody
is the clinical director of the Fraser Center. He has been with the center
since 1998. Jody specializes in working with children and families. His
past experience includes working in public and private non-profit counseling
agencies. He holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from Florida State
University and is a Ph.D. candidate in social work at the University of
South Carolina.
Teresa I. Winn, LPC, MAC
Teresa
has been working at the Fraser Center since October 2000. She earned two
degrees Georgia Southern University: a Master of Education in 1996 and
an Education Specialist in 2000 -- both with an emphasis in Counseling.
Teresa counsels individuals, couples, and families in addition to the
work she does coordinating our Substance Abuse Treatment program. She
is a licensed Professional Counselor and a Master Addiction Counselor.
She maintains professional memberships in the American Counseling Association,
the Licensed Professional Counselors Association of Georgia, the Association
for Addiction Professionals, and the Georgia Addiction Counselors Association.
Tisha Albury, Counselor
Tisha
has been working at the Fraser Center since January, 2004. She started
service with the Fraser Center as an intern while working toward a Masters
of Psychology degree at Argosy University. After earning her degree in
December, 2004 she was asked to remain on staff as a counselor. Tisha
earned her Bachelor of Afts degree from Hartwick College in Oneonta, NY
in May, 2000. She counsels adults and couples and coordinates the Youth-at-Risk
program. She is currently working toward obtaining hours of service and
supervision requirements for licensure as a professional counselor.
John Stephen Autry, M.S., LMFT
Stephen
holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Georgia Southern University
and a Master of Science degree in clinical psychology from Valdosta State
University. He has 23 years experience in public mental health working
in a variety of settings including inpatient psychiatric hospital, outpatient
mental health, outpatient substance abuse, methadone treatment clinic,
and psycho-education. He has treated children, adolescents, and adults
in individual, family, and group settings. Prior to his retirement from
public mental health in 1998, Stephen served as child and adolescent service
coordinator, assistant center director, and executive director of Satilla
Community Service Board.
Stephen is beginning his sixth year at The Fraser Center. He provides individual and couple therapy to adolescents and adults. He is a licensed member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy and the Georgia Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.
Ronald Blaine Everson, Ph.D., LMFT
Blaine
earned his doctorate in family and children sciences from The Florida
State University in 2005. He has been licensed as a marriage and family
therapist by the State of Georgia since 1995. He is a clinical member
in the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy and a collegial
member in the National Council on Family Relations. He has also conducted
extensive research on stress and quality of life issues in Army families
during deployments. In addition to his practice with children, couples,
and families, his therapeutic work also includes counseling individuals
and families impacted by trauma. He is a certified Level-II EMDR practitioner
and is currently working toward his certification in clinical hypnosis.
He resides in Hinesville with wife, daughter, a funny looking dog, and
two well-fed cats.
Gina N. Farrell, LPC, NCC
Gina
has been working at the Fraser Center since February, 2001. She earned
a Master of Counseling degree in 2000 from the University of Phoenix and
a Bachelor of Science in Communications from Georgia Southern University
in 1987. Gina counsels individuals (adults and children), couples, and
families and works extensively with the Employee Assistance program, delivering
consultation and training to area businesses and industries. She is a
Licensed Professional Counselor and a National Certified Counselor and
is especially interested in the areas of health and wellness.
Jason A. Hill, M.Ed., LPC
Jason
earned a Masters Degree in Counseling from Georgia Southern University
in 1997. His work with individuals, couples, families, and groups has
taught him the value of the therapeutic relationship and the importance
of providing a safe and supportive place for client’s to talk. He
currently works with adults and adolescents, dealing with emotional/behavioral
issues and substance abuse problems. Jason is a Licensed Professional
Counselor and a National Certified Counselor, as well as a Certified Cognitive
Behavioral Therapist. He is presently working toward a certification in
addiction counseling and group psychotherapy.
Greg Loskoski, M.Div.
Greg
serves as the Employee Assistance Coordinator for the Fraser Center. He
holds a Master of Divinity degree from Columbia Theological Seminary and
has been pastor at a local church, Flemington Presbyterian, for 14 years.
He is Senior Chaplain for the Georgia State Patrol and Chaplain for the
Hinesville Police Department. Greg is one of 26 chaplains appointed by
Governor Sonny Perdue to the Office of Homeland Security.
He is certified in Critical Incident Response by the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation and the National Organization for Victim Assistance (NOVA).
