One important benefit employers may choose to offer is an Employee Assistance Program (EAP).

Our EAP provides counseling, education, and training for employees of any EAP contract holder. Our center administrators will meet with your organization’s  human resources manager to negotiate a contract that provides a specified number of prepaid counseling sessions to employees and dependents of your company.

Once a company has a signed contract with the Fraser Counseling Center, employees can easily and confidentially access counseling for issues such as marital or family discourse, financial difficulties, grief, substance abuse, or any other concerns that may interfere with work or personal life. An employee or dependent may schedule a confidential assessment by calling 912-369-7777.

After an initial evaluation, a clinical professional will determine the necessary level of intervention and recommend the most appropriate course of treatment. There is no cost to the employee for EAP sessions. If treatment is advised or desired beyond the predetermined number of visits available through the EAP contract, the employee is responsible for payment using health benefits and insurance. Scholarships are available on an adjusted fee scale based on family size and income. In respect of patient confidentiality, company representatives are NOT notified of an employee's utilization of EAP benefits.

Confidentiality is protected by the Fraser Counseling Center as well as by state and federal law.
