Our Story
We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit, non-denominational, faith-based organization that offers behavioral health services for individuals and families. We also offer assistance with addiction recovery in addition to education and outreach for individuals and community organizations.
In 1986, Dr. Whitman Fraser, a local physician and pioneer of holistic healthcare in Liberty County, Georgia established The Mary Lou Fraser Foundation for Families, Inc. in memory of his late wife. Dr. Fraser had a vision of providing the people of Liberty County affordable, whole-person care, regardless of race, gender, or socioeconomic status. The Fraser Counseling Center, Helen’s Haven Children’s Advocacy Center , and the Liberty County YMCA are the products of Dr. Fraser’s vision.
